On-Call Nanny & Childcare Professional Jovie of Reno-Tahoe 📍 Reno, NV 💲 $16–$22 per hour 🕒 Part-Time | Flexible Schedule | W2 Employee Professional Childcare Position with Flexible Scheduling Jovie of Reno-Tahoe is seeking dependable, experienced childcare professionals who genuinely enjoy working with children and value being part of a supportive, professional team.
This position is ideal for caregivers looking for flexible, ongoing work with families who rely on high-quality, trusted childcare — not occasional gig work.
We are looking for individuals who are punctual, responsible, communicative, and committed to creating positive experiences for children and families.

Responsibilities Provide attentive, engaging care for children from infancy through school age Create a safe, structured, and nurturing environment Lead age-appropriate activities, play, and routines Follow household guidelines and parenting preferences Communicate professionally with parents and the Jovie office team Arrive prepared, dependable, and ready to support families Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old Minimum 1 year of paid childcare experience (nannying, babysitting, daycare, preschool, teaching, camp counseling, etc.) Experience caring for children independently Reliable vehicle and willingness to commute throughout the Reno-Tahoe region Clean driving record and ability to pass a motor vehicle background screening (MVR) CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain Ability to pass a comprehensive background check May be required to pass a drug screening Strong childcare references Dependable, communicative, and adaptable Benefits W2 employment — not 1099 contract work Employer-paid payroll taxes Workers’ Compensation & Unemployment Insurance coverage Bi-weekly pay via direct deposit Flexible scheduling based on your availability App-based scheduling and shift management Paid onboarding and professional development Supportive local office and team Opportunities to work with a variety of families and age groups Ideal For Early childhood professionals Retired teachers College students pursuing education or healthcare careers Career nannies seeking flexible supplemental work Individuals seeking meaningful, professional childcare work with flexibility Apply Today Families trust Jovie caregivers to provide safe, dependable, high-quality care for their children.
