To support the OnDemand service, the Remote Mandarin Contract Interpreter will provide consecutive interpretation, adhere to client protocols, and maintain confidentiality while working on a contract basis. Key responsibilities: Provides consecutive, first-person interpretation for various clients Follows interpreter protocols and procedures as required by clients Continuously improves vocabulary and specialized subject matter knowledge Required qualifications: Submission of an updated resume in English at the time of application Completion of English Language Proficiency with a rating of technical proficiency (3 or higher on the ILR scale) Successful completion of a mock oral interpretation session with a passing score Completion of Propio's online Medical Terminology, Anatomy, and Physiology Assessment with a passing score A signed commitment to confidentiality, ethics, and HIPAA compliance
