Job description

Overview

Seeking a full-time Mechanical Engineer to work closely with our Mechanical / Electrical engineering team. This is a fast-paced environment with exposure to a variety of projects throughout the United States. You will be a key contributor to the design and coordination of mechanical projects and will gain experience in the development of building mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Work with licensed professional engineers in the design and production of construction documents for mechanical projects including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Perform drafting, field inspections, measurements, and calculations while working closely with licensed professional engineers.

Qualifications

  • 2-6 years of experience as a mechanical design engineer (HVAC focused), including design, layout and sizing of building mechanical equipment.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD software (Autodesk Revit preferred).
  • Carrier HAP experience preferred (or other similar software).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
