Med / Surg RN Job Details Location : Tulsa, OK 74127 – Oklahoma healthcare jobs Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Unit : Medical / Surgical (Med / Surg) Duration : 13-week contract Shift : 12-hour day shifts Hours per Week : 36 Start Date : November 10, 2025 On-Site Position Estimated Weekly Salary : $1720 - $1840 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Oklahoma or compact state BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required prior to first shift ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification required prior to first shift Minimum 1 year of recent bedside clinical experience in a hospital setting (2 years preferred) Experience in Medical / Surgical (Med / Surg) nursing preferred Med / Surg RN Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments for all patients within 8 hours of admission Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic medical record Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and discharge planning from admission to discharge Communicate changes in patient status to physicians and care team members to ensure patient safety and continuity of care Supervise and provide direction to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and new staff or orientees Promote patient and employee safety by adhering to hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols Contribute to a positive team environment and support collaborative healthcare delivery Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed following orientation Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing nursing education Apply now to join our Tulsa healthcare team as a Travel Med / Surg Registered Nurse (RN) and make a difference in patient care!
