Shipping And Receiving Specialist

Join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Specialist where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless flow of goods in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities :

• Receive all incoming deliveries and check items for damage.
• Verify received items against purchase orders and seek assistance if needed.
• Mark the purchase order copy as received, initial, and date it.
• Attach the purchase order copy to the packing slip and forward it to the office.
• Mark and stage items for jobs, including Job No., Equip. No., and a brief description on the box.
• Store and stage marked items in designated locations.
• Pull parts for staging and production while protecting them from damage and weather.

Work Environment :

Work in a small, yet machine-filled shop with 20 hourly employees. The environment is production-based, yet work-life balance is prioritized. Shifts are typically from 6 : 00 am to 2 : 30 pm, but flexibility to work 8 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm is required for later shipments. The machine shop is located in Canton and is known for its supportive and collaborative atmosphere.

Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract position based out of Baltimore, MD.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
