Job descriptionVerify patient identification and exam requests. Explain procedures to patients and answer questions. Perform 2D and 3D ultrasonic imaging of internal organs. Conduct measurements and documentation in line with protocols. Prepare and manage medications and equipment for procedures. Provide ultrasound guidance during interventional procedures. Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain patient safety. Collaborate with the lead tech on scheduling and protocol development. Participate in quality assurance and department projects. Assist in training new employees and maintaining equipment. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program with proficiency in various ultrasonography fields. Eligible for national registries in sonographic modalities. ARDMS registration in Abdomen, OB / GYN, or Vascular preferred, with current BLS certification required.
