Management Analyst

The State of Hawaii is seeking a Management Analyst. This position participates in the analysis, evaluation, development, and implementation of management applications to meet the needs of the agencies served; prepare reports of findings and recommendations; and performs other related duties as assigned.

To qualify, you must meet all of the following requirements : Legal Authorization to Work : The State of Hawaii requires all persons seeking employment with the government of the State shall be citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States. Basic Education : A bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university. General Experience : Six (6) months of professional work involving the analysis and evaluation of managerial policies, systems, methods and practices in the development and / or improvement of same. Specialized Experience : One (1) year of professional management analysis experience; viz., experience in conducting organizational analyses, work measurement / methods studies, management information systems design and evaluation, and management surveys in order to identify problem areas and develop recommendations for improving the economy, efficiency and effectiveness of a given operation through the proper application of sound methods, principles and practices of management.
