Forklift Operator

The candidate will be responsible for loading, unloading, pulling products, and case picking in the warehouse. The work environment includes the dry side, a cooler side at 34 degrees, or a freezer at -10 degrees. Flexibility is essential as the role requires movement between different areas in the warehouse. The individual will utilize a stand-up forklift and case picking will be done approximately 10%-15% of the time. Comfort with lifting 25-30 lbs is necessary.

Responsibilities :

• Load and unload products in the warehouse.
• Pull products and perform case picking tasks.
• Operate a stand-up forklift efficiently.
• Adapt to working in different temperature zones within the warehouse.
• Use RF scanners to manage inventory and product movement.

Work Environment :

The warehouse is a 450,000 sq foot building with a small crew on the 2nd shift of 5 on the dry side and 5 on the cold side. All team members operate forklifts. The work culture emphasizes personal recognition and cooperation, working with end customers like Darden, McDonald's, and Blazing.

Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chambersburg, PA.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.75 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
