Job description

GIS Specialist role at ACRT Pacific

Description :

NRM Data Support : Contractor shall provide GIS, database, and IT support for current state, anticipated growth, and improvements for Natural Resource Management projects on the Pacific Gas and Electric contract, as directed by ACRT and a PG&E Work Supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Provide development support of data collection and repositories on web-based and PG&E platforms.
  • Provide support for data processing, analytics, metrics, and QC from web-based and PG&E platforms.
  • Provide support for automation of data processing, analytics, metrics, and QC, where applicable.
  • Provide support for defined and ad-hoc data requests.
  • Provide front-end development support of data dashboards and on web-based and PG&E platforms.
  • Provide continued support of and improvements to data processing, data analysis, data metrics, data QC, data collection, and other GIS support, as applicable.
  • Provide Contractor GIS to train NRM program field personnel for improved workflows and processes.
  • Provide support for data backup processes.
  • Provide geospatial and tabular records in web-based and PG&E platforms within 1 to 7 business days upon request.
  • Provide QA / QC reports to appropriate teams and programs on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Provide back-ups of necessary program data on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Provide web-based dashboards and reporting tools within 1 to 7 business days upon request.
  • Provide urgent ad-hoc data and analytic deliverables within 1 to 7 business days upon request.
  • Provide data processing and analytical models within 1 to 7 business days upon request.
  • Provide ongoing process and procedure development and documentation within 1 to 7 business days upon request.
  • Provide presentation and training materials as requested.

Qualifications

  • 2 or 4 year degree in Geographic Information Systems or related field AND at least 1 year's experience performing GIS analysis or field work OR 4 years work experience in a GIS analysis related field.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) or similar software suite.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Minimum age of 21.
  • Required Skills

  • Familiar with GIS programs : ACRGIS, ARCGIS Pro, Field Maps, MapsPlus.
  • Salary Range Disclaimer : The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Pacific salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to customer contact terms, location, experience, and performance. Other rewards may include Paid Time Off, 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match, ESOP contributions, medical, dental, and vision insurance, and other region-specific benefits as eligible.

    Salary Range Transparency : For applicants residing in California, the salary range for this role is from $45,000 min to $48,000 max.
