Who we are looking for :

Atkore's network of (6) Regional Service Centers (RSC) is a strategic pillar that contributes to the overall success of Atkore. We are currently looking for a Regional Service Center Manager for our Cartersville, GA facility. Reporting to Vice President of RSC Operations, this person will be the primary leader of the facility, as such he / she is accountable for leading all distribution functions of the facility, ensuring that the facility effectively supports and interacts with Atkore's business units, manufacturing facilities, HQ functions and customers.

This position is accountable to customer service metrics such as Delivery On-Time in Full. Additionally, this position is accountable for all safety programs, shipping & receiving, inventory management, warehousing, and transportation functions. This role manages Atkore's relationship with the Landlord, Security, and Environmental, Health, and Safety . The RSC Manager leads exempt and non-exempt associates across multiple shifts of operation. Demonstrated experience using Lean tools and a track record of project management is strongly desired.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in supply chain management with 10+ years of demonstrated leadership experience. Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company is a plus.

What you'll do :

• Work closely with our Customer Service, Manufacturing, Demand Planning and Corporate Transportation departments, this position will oversee the day-to-day distribution, warehousing, and fulfillment operations by maintaining and enhancing existing standards.
• Ensure the highest standards achieved in the distribution center in the areas of safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Drive consistency and cost reduction through the creation and implementation of standard work.
• Creating, implementing, and managing distribution center KPI's.
• Leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams in Kaizen and Lean.
• Collaborating with cross functional teams to investigate service failures, and develop, implement, and monitor appropriate corrective and preventative action.
• Develop and manage distribution center, inventory & transportation workforce with performance assessments, professional development coaching, etc.
• Develop and implement processes to improve the Commercial Metrics, Atkore's measure of on-time delivery.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $ 117,920 - $162,140 . Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
