Quality Engineer - (1394)

Position Summary : S upport departments efforts that relate to quality improvement. Coordinate and execute plans to obtain and / or maintain certification for IATF 16949 and ISO-9001 and to current automotive international applicable standard. Responsible for helping achieve customer / supplier quality expectations, production requirements, scrap and re-work requirements. Provide guidance to managers to interpret, implement and communicate policies and procedures.

Qualifications : (knowledge, skills and abilities) :

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years quality control automotive manufacturing experience required
• Quality Management System (QMS) and IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 experience
• Implement and maintain all quality system requirements, including APQP, PPAP, and customer-specific requirements.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
