A leading manufacturer is seeking a Controls Engineer to support automation, reliability, and continuous improvement in a high-volume industrial environment. This role focuses on reducing downtime, improving safety and quality, and strengthening plant performance through advanced controls expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical / controls-related downtime
- Implement automation and control improvements for safety, quality, and efficiency
- Recommend equipment upgrades and modifications
- Maintain accurate schematics and technical documentation
- Support PM scheduling and reliability tracking
- Lead or assist with TPM, Kaizen, and improvement initiatives
- Train maintenance technicians on controls and electrical systems
Ideal Candidate
Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field3+ years in manufacturing or industrial operationsExperience with Allen-Bradley PLCs (ControlLogix, PLC-5, SLC-500, MicroLogix) and Siemens S7Skilled in AC / DC drive troubleshooting (PowerFlex, Unico)Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft OfficeStrong communicator and problem solverMeets ITAR U.S. person requirementsWhat We Offer
