Job Scope

The MPD Supervisors are required to supervise field installation and operation of Managed Pressure Drilling jobs.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ability to operate Opla Energys proprietary Software.
• Fill out and submit all required documentation including safety meetings, daily tickets, JHAs and permits.
• Identify and handle kicks and various other drilling scenarios.
• Ensure Equipment is kept clean and functional, inspect for wear and perform maintenance as required.
• Evaluate experimental procedures and recommend changes or modifications for efficiency and adaptability to setup and production.
• Utilizes and abides by safety procedures.
• Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions.
• Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
