The locum tenens Psychiatry opportunity in North Carolina :

• Location : Suburb of Ashville, NC
• Duration : November 2019 start and on-going for 90+ days, with possibility of extension and / or permanent conversion per agreeance of all parties
• Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 am- 5 : 00 pm. May be transitioning to a 7 on 7 off schedule, still in the planning phase for this
• Shift : 12 hour
• Call : Telephone call responsibilities only
• Scope : Adult only, will round on all patients daily, admit and discharge patients in the ER, provide hospital consults as requested. Ability to supervise PMHNP or FNP Psychiatric Provider(s).
• Hospital : 21-bed, short-term, adult psychiatric unit / medical detoxification unit; 5-bed Psychiatric Transitional Unit adjacent to the 24-bed Emergency Department. Epic EMR with Dragon
• Required : Board Certified in Adult or General Psychiatry, North Carolina license (or willingness to obtain)
