Human Resources Manager

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for recruiting and maintaining staffing levels, managing performance management and training development initiatives, formulating and overseeing employee policies, advising staff and supervisors on performance management issues, overseeing employee benefit programs, and planning, coordinating, and implementing training programs. Additionally, the manager will manage the unit safety program, perform unit communication activities, and undertake other duties as directed. Responsibilities include :

• Recruit and maintain staffing levels.
• Manage all performance management and training development initiatives.
• Formulate and oversee employee policies.
• Advise staff and supervisors on performance management issues.
• Oversee employee benefit programs.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement training programs.
• Manage unit safety program, including workers compensation administration.
• Serve as the principal employee relations facilitator.
• Perform unit communication activities.
• Perform additional duties as directed, which may fall outside the core responsibilities.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $95,000.00 - $135,000.00 / yr.

Workplace Type :

This is a fully onsite position in West Des Moines, IA.
