This Front Desk Receptionist - $19 to $20 Bilingual Spanish a must Location : Houston, TX 77029 Shift : M-F 8am-5pm Start : ASAP
Job Description : Answering calls and Insurance Verification / Referral and Authorization along with scheduling appointments in Epic which may require creating a medical identity if the patient is new.
Scheduling appointments in person or by telephone, send reminders and follow up on no-shows. Bubbly and have compassion with patients along with great customer service Receive and convey messages electronically, in writing and verbally.
Schedule appointments according to office scheduling policies Interact effectively with staff and clients in order to maintain a professional working environment. Mark patients accordingly in Patient Tracking System
Follow policy related to cashier functions Discuss & interpret patient balance information within the guidelines of the office's collection policy. Requirements : Maintain a cheerful, positive and respectful attitude. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Good telephone, computer, and typing skills. Experience in a medical setting preferred. Minimum 1 year experience as medical receptionist preferred.
Bilingual High School graduate or equivalent.
