• Senior / Lead HVAC Technician Location :  Northampton, MA Position Type :  Full-Time About the Role We are seeking an experienced  Senior HVAC Technician  to join our team.
• This role requires a high level of technical expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial and / or residential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
• The ideal candidate will bring leadership, problem-solving, and customer service skills, while also mentoring junior technicians and ensuring top-quality workmanship.
• Key Responsibilities Perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems, including rooftop units, chillers, boilers, VRF / VRV systems, and refrigeration equipment.
• Lead and oversee complex installations, retrofits, and commissioning of HVAC systems.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes and safety regulations.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to junior technicians and apprentices.
• Communicate effectively with customers, providing clear explanations and recommendations.
• Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and documentation.
• Respond to emergency service calls and participate in an on-call rotation, as needed.
• Collaborate with project managers and contractors to ensure successful project execution.
