Job Details

Reputable Personal Injury Firm seeking a Pre-Litigation Attorney. This is a permanent, full-time position focusing on pre-litigation aspects of personal injury cases arising from motor vehicle accidents, slip / trip and falls, and other incidents resulting in bodily injuries. Location : California (firm has several offices).

Base pay range : $100,000.00 / yr - $135,000.00 / yr. This range is provided by Jobot; actual pay is based on skills and experience. Salary details : $100,000 - $135,000 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all pre-litigation aspects of personal injury cases from inception to settlement or litigation.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and the legal team to move cases toward resolution.
  • Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters.
  • Review and analyze medical records, depositions, and other pertinent documents.
  • Conduct client intakes, gather and analyze evidence, and develop case strategies.
  • Prepare and draft demand packages, letters, legal documents, and other correspondences.
  • Participate in case strategy meetings and contribute insights.
  • Maintain high client satisfaction and meet client needs in a timely, efficient manner.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active member in good standing with the State Bar.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pre-Litigation Attorney in personal injury.
  • Proven track record of successful negotiations and settlements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to interact effectively with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and team members.
  • Strong analytical skills to review and analyze medical records and other case documents.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases.
  • Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Commitment to professional ethics and client confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
