Agency Service Representative

PrideStaff is seeking an experienced Agency Service Representative to join an insurance company located in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate would provide an exceptional customer service experience to both internal and external customers. This individual must enjoy working with people and making a difference at work. The ideal candidate must enjoy a fast-paced environment, be detail oriented, well organized and like paperwork. The ideal candidate must be a quick learner who likes working alone and in a team.

Location : Charlotte, NC 28211

Schedule : Monday through Friday, 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm

Pay Rate : $20-$24 / hr. (based on experience)

Account Manager / Job Duties :

• Maintains customer databases Agency Bloc and Excel Sheets.
• Assisting clients with completing their applications for insurance. 30+ a month. Year-end 800+.
• Submitting / processing applications for clients. 30+ a month. Year-end 800+.
• Responsible for sending out rate quotes for both under 65 and over 65 clients.
• Responsible for sending out rate quotes for travel insurance.
• Answer 40+ emails a day.
• Provides information to clients by answering questions and requests.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications.
• Create and distribute Constant Contact Newsletters to clients.
• Daily follow-up with 8 + insurance carriers for each application's status. Average 30+ applications a month.
• Send emails to keep clients updated on application status. Average 30+ applications a month.
• Responsible for all Medicare D and Medicare Advantage RX reviews. 800 at year-end.
• Sending thank you notes on a timely basis within 10 days of the application being approved by an insurance carrier.
