Store employees maintain well-stocked inventory, assist customers with product selection, and provide expert advice to enhance the shopping experience. AutoZone offers the perfect chance to build your career in an essential industry serving the motoring public. \n Responsibilities * Customer Assistance & Communication - Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and ensure positive interactions through clear, professional communication. * Leadership & Teamwork - Collaborate with managers and teammates to create a motivated, productive store environment. Support team members and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities. * Sales & Metrics Mindedness - Recommend products, services, and promotions to enhance customer experience, while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics. * Inventory Management & Store Operations - Restock merchandise, maintain organization, and follow proper cash handling procedures, loss prevention policies ensuring proper financial management. Keep store operations running smoothly. * Process Orientation & Safety Compliance - Utilize structured processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently. Follow company safety policies and use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) to maintain a secure work environment. * Product Knowledge & Installation Services - Stay up-to-date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems. Assist customers with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations. * Diagnostics Support - Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions. Qualifications What We're Looking For * Minimum Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old to apply. * Automotive Knowledge: Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required. * Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise. * Flexible Schedule: Full-time flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed. You'll Go The Extra Mile If You Have * Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) * Exceptional Communication: Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English. * Automotive Retail: Previous experience in automotive retail * Certifications: Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification
