**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct preliminary diagnoses and determine follow-up procedures for patients.
- Administer and interpret diagnostic tests, including x-rays, electrocardiograms, and blood work.
- Perform minimally invasive procedures such as port placements, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and vascular catheter insertions under supervision.
- Manage patient care for vascular and non-vascular illnesses and coordinate necessary imaging studies and lab tests.
- Document and relay patient information, including health history and clinical findings, ensuring thorough communication with the healthcare team.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
- Current licensure as a Physician Assistant and certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum of 50 fluoroscopy procedures completed in the last 24 months, demonstrating competence in interventional practices.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Proven ability to perform patient assessments, including intake, medical history review, and focused physical examinations. Salary negotiable based on experience, full benefits package.
