We partner with our Nurses at TriStar Centennial Medical Center!\n\nJob Summary and Qualifications\n\nThis is 36 bed high acuity unit that cares for a variety of surgical patients form general surgery, gastrointestinal, head / neck, and vascular. This unit develops nurses to have broad range of knowledge, become experts in post-op, recovery, and master all nursing skills.\n\nThe Registered Nurse performs direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act. \n\nWhat you will do in this role :  \n
• As Med-Surg RN, you will perform direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act.\n
• In this role, you will use therapeutic communication in daily practice. Maintains a safe therapeutic environment.\n
• You will identify nursing problems as they relate to the individual needs of the patient.\n
• You will plan individualized patient care utilizing an interdisciplinary approach.\n
• You will participate in performance improvement activities.\n
• You will provide care and coordinates participation that fosters the goals of the hospital's mission and vision statement. \n\n What qualifications you will need :   \n
• Graduate of an Accredited School of Professional Nursing \n
• Current RN licensure (or eligible) \n
• 1 year clinical experience preferred \n
