Emergency Medicine Physicians Needed – Night Shifts – Fortuna, CA

  • Licenses/Certifications: Active California medical license, BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (Within 5 years), ABEM/ABEOM certified
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of current hospital emergency medicine experience; surgical case logs if applicable

What You’ll Do
  • Provide emergency medical care to diverse patient populations in a hospital setting
  • Manage acute cases across a broad spectrum of illnesses and injuries
  • Collaborate with hospital staff and specialists for patient care coordination
  • Document patient assessments and treatment plans accurately
  • Participate in shift handovers and ensure continuity of care
  • Adhere to established protocols and quality standards
  • Demonstrate flexibility in working night shifts as scheduled

What You Need
  • Valid California medical license and DEA registration
  • Board-certified or Board-eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/ABEOM) within 5 years
  • Minimum 2 years of recent emergency department experience
  • Strong clinical skills in emergency medicine and patient management
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work night shifts reliably and efficiently
