Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time (36 or 48 hours per week) | Rotating Shifts (Days, Evenings, Nights) | Onsite | Weekends, Holidays, and On-Call per Unit Need

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an orthopedic unit specializing in orthopedic trauma, spinal surgery, and elective orthopedic surgical diagnoses
• Demonstrate strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Function effectively as a team player, supporting unit needs including floating, charge duties, and on-call assignments
• Participate in a unit recognized for research and innovation, contributing to education and professional development initiatives
• Adhere to rotating shift schedules including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required by unit needs

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Orthopedic nursing experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – American Heart Association only
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification – American Heart Association only

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Level 1 trauma facility
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a team-oriented, high-acuity clinical environment
