Valuations Associate at Prominent Venture Capital Firm

Michelle Espejo with Robert Half Financial Services is recruiting for a Valuation Analyst at a Top Venture Capital firm. This is a full-time permanent role based in Menlo Park with a Hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities

Lead quarterly portfolio valuations (ASC 820) and present insights to auditors, committees, and partners.

Support quarterly / annual closes, statements, and audit deliverables.

Mentor junior team members and respond to LP inquiries.

Contribute to projects across the finance function.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.

CPA preferred

3+ years of strong valuations experience with VC / PE clients or in-house VC / PE finance.

Big 4 preferred

Strong ASC 946 / 820 knowledge.

Advanced Excel skills

ERP systems knowledge (Investran, Intacct, QuickBooks) a plus.
