Welder Technician (Temp-to-Hire)
Pay: $17/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Location: Arlington, TX
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Position Overview
We’re hiring a Welder Technician to support a busy manufacturing environment in Arlington. This role focuses on welding, fabrication, and assembly of metal components while maintaining strong quality and safety standards. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with consistent hours and room to grow.

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and basic weld symbols
Set up and operate welding equipment (MIG/TIG/Stick depending on the area)
Weld and assemble metal components to specifications
Measure, fit, and tack parts prior to final welds
Inspect finished welds for quality, strength, and accuracy
Grind/clean welds as needed and maintain a clean work area
Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
Assist with general shop tasks as needed (material handling, staging parts)

Requirements

Previous welding experience in a production or shop environment (school/trade training considered)
Ability to read a tape measure and follow written instructions/prints
Strong attention to detail and quality
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of shift
Reliable attendance and punctuality

Preferred (Nice to Have)

Welding certification(s)
Experience with fabrication tools (grinders, saws, drills)
Forklift experience
