Our History
In 2020, Robyn Fleming started Share The Love Outreach Organization, unofficially by reaching out to family and friends to see who needed help for Christmas during the Pandemic. Many people donated and signed up for assistance. That first year, she shipped gifts to 110 children.
In 2021, she conducted another Toy Giveaway and served 112 children. Then, in 2022, Robyn established the organization officially as a 501c3 nonprofit organization. That year, and the following year, the organization served over 270 children at Christmas.
Our Programs
Summer Sacks Full of Books Giveaway - This program was established in May 2023. The goal of the program is to provide free, diverse books to children in low income communities in the form of a book fair. We use this as an opportunity to encourage reading during the summer.
Share The Love Month - This program occurs in February and the focus is to celebrate and support teens in low income communities. Our first year, we provide teen peer leaders with $20 restaurant gift cards in appreciation of all their hard work.
Grow & Glow Experience for Teen Girls - As a part of our focus on mental, physical and emotional well-being, we provide teen girls with this workshop made just for them. The workshop is conducted by highly sought after pediatrician and author, Dr. Charnetta Colton-Poole and includes a digital copy of Dr. Colton-Poole's Grow & Glow Playbook and a certificate of completion.
Christmas Gift Giveaway - This program is our opportunity to provide families in need of assistance with food, clothing and gifts for their children so the whole family can truly enjoy the holiday season.
