The mission of Speechify is to make sure that reading is never a barrier to learning. Speechifys text-to-speech products turn PDFs, books, Google Docs, news articles, websites, and more into audio to help people read faster, read more, and remember more. What Youll Do

Senior Android Engineer as our Android app grows to become the most-used text-to-speech app in the Play Store, you will help support the expanding user base and work on new projects to push the product forward. This is a key role for someone who thinks strategically, thrives in fast-paced environments, and is passionate about making product decisions and delivering delightful user experiences.

We are a flat organization that emphasizes leadership through strong technical skills and consistent, fast delivery. Work ethic, clear communication, and a drive to win are essential. Our interview process involves several technical interviews, with a typical timeline of about one week to complete them.

What Youll Do

• Own major features and work closely with design to deliver high-quality functionality within the app
• Shape the future of our Android team
• Own, maintain, and improve reliability metrics for key features
• Participate in cross-team discussions with Product, Design, and Engineering
• Review pull requests and support teammates
• Handle critical issues and unexpected challenges
• Take ownership of feature releases and provide nightly builds for QA

The United States Based Salary range for this role is : 140,000-200,000 USD / Year + Bonus + Stock depending on experience
