Responsibilities
- Drive efficiencies and automation to support the resilience of the Firm's most critical applications
- Set team goals and SLAs; collaborate with near-shore and offshore IT-DR teams; help set the IT-DR lifecycle roadmap and identify areas for solutioning
- Assign team members to the right projects within budget and timelines; ensure the team has the skills and tools needed; act as point of escalation to leadership
- Balance execution and tactical planning with participation in strategic planning; monitor monthly, quarterly, and yearly IT-DR performance
- Ensure alignment with relevant strategies and commitments; partner with the Enterprise Resilience Organization (ERO) and Risk management; guide IT disaster recovery and business-critical applications teams toward optimal solutions
- Engage with department management and staff across Digital Nexus to influence client expectations and propose improvements; provide well-considered alternatives and recommendations
Qualifications
Minimum five years of recent experience in IT-Disaster Recovery and / or leading IT infrastructure or application teamsBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; IT-DR related certifications are a plusExpert knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, DNS, load balancing, servers, and high availabilityProven enterprise experience as part of IT-DR or application teams performing IT-DR planning and testing (e.g., application fail-over and DR site operations)Strong leadership and communication skills with collaboration across application teams and nearshore / offshore teamsKnowledge of ServiceNow, SharePoint, Office Suite and Agile methodologiesApplicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future; no sponsorship is available for this roleAdditional Information
