We are looking for a skilled Collections Specialist to join our team in Carmel, Indiana. In this role, you will interact directly with consumers to manage overdue accounts and ensure timely payments. Responsibilities :

• Contact customers to discuss outstanding payments and negotiate repayment plans.
• Review account details to identify overdue balances and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of all communication and payment activities.
• Monitor accounts to ensure compliance with agreed payment schedules.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address customer inquiries and issues.
• Utilize effective communication strategies to recover funds while maintaining positive customer relationships.
• Provide regular updates and reports on collections progress to management.
• Stay informed about industry regulations and best practices related to collections.
• Proven experience in consumer collections or a similar role.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
• Familiarity with relevant financial and collections software.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
