Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our team. As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications by providing pharmaceutical care to patients.
This is a critical role in our healthcare organization, where you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on patient outcomes.
DUTIES :
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
- Provide medication counseling to patients, ensuring they understand proper usage, potential side effects, and any necessary precautions
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patients' medication therapy for effectiveness and safety
- Conduct patient assessments to identify medication-related problems and recommend appropriate interventions
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records
- Stay updated on new medications, treatment guidelines, and industry trends
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution
- Valid pharmacist license in the state of North Carolina
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Experience in critical care or acute care settings preferred
- Proficiency in aseptic technique for sterile compounding
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
