Radiology Technologist Job Details Location : Normal, Illinois 61761 (Central Illinois healthcare jobs) Healthcare Setting : Cardiac Catheterization Lab / Special Procedures Assignment Length : 20 weeks (Start : 11 / 24 / 2025 – End : 4 / 11 / 2026) Shift : 4x10 hour days (7 : 30 AM – 6 : 00 PM) Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week On-Call : Every 3rd weekend and 2 weekdays per week Employment Type : Travel Radiology Technologist Estimated Weekly Salary : $3,000 - $3,080 Radiology Technologist Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist, including Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field, or Certificate in Radiologic Technology Active ARRT (R) certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) IEMA Radiography License (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association) Ability to take call after 6 months of orientation Preferred : Neuro Interventional and Electrophysiology (EP) experience Radiology Technologist Responsibilities Administer contrast material and medications as ordered, following scope of practice for radiology technologists Recognize and respond to hypersensitivity or allergic reactions during cardiac cath and special procedures Anticipate set-up and assist with invasive cardiovascular and interventional radiology procedures Maintain accurate documentation and ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality in all healthcare settings Operate and troubleshoot advanced imaging and physiological monitoring equipment Maintain sterile field and assist physicians during interventional procedures Float to all procedural areas as needed within the hospital Perform on-call duties as scheduled for cardiac cath lab and special procedures Assist with inventory management and maintain a clean, organized work area Function as a scrub and monitor technician on a rotating basis Join our healthcare team in Normal, Illinois and make a difference as a travel Radiology Technologist.
