  • Location : Normal, Illinois (61761) – Central Illinois healthcare jobs\n
  • Assignment Length : 20 weeks (September 8, 2025 – January 24, 2026)\n
  • Healthcare Setting : Cardiac Cath Lab & Special Procedures Unit\n
  • Schedule : Monday – Friday, 4x10 hour day shifts (7 : 30 AM – 6 : 00 PM)\n
  • Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week\n
  • On-Call : Every 3rd weekend (Friday–Sunday) and 1–2 weekdays as needed\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2750 - $2820\n

    • \n\nRadiologic Technologist Qualifications\n \n

  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology setting\n
  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field, or Certificate in Radiologic Technology\n
  • Current ARRT Radiography (R) certification – required for radiologic technologist jobs\n
  • Valid IEMA Radiography License (Illinois) – Illinois radiology jobs\n
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)\n
  • Ability to take call after 6 months of orientation\n
  • Preferred : Neuro Interventional and Electrophysiology (EP) experience\n

    • \n\nRadiologic Technologist Responsibilities\n \n

  • Administer contrast material as ordered, monitor for hypersensitivity or allergic reactions, and respond appropriately\n
  • Anticipate set-up and needs for invasive cardiac and interventional radiology procedures; assist with inventory and supplies\n
  • Verify patient and chart identification, diagnosis, and treatment position for all clinical procedures\n
  • Accurately compile and document pertinent clinical information in patient records\n
  • Explain procedures to patients, ensuring comfort, support, safety, and confidentiality throughout the process\n
  • Perform all essential functions of an Invasive Lab Radiologic Technologist, including floating to all procedural areas as needed\n
  • Maintain a clean and sterile work environment; demonstrate competence with imaging and monitoring equipment; perform basic troubleshooting\n
  • Function as a scrub and monitor technician on a rotating basis during cardiac cath and special procedures\n
  • Assist physicians during interventional procedures and administer or withhold contrast / treatment as appropriate\n
  • Assess patients for allergies and administer medications within scope of practice\n
