Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Caregiver to join our team in Ocala, FL. As a Caregiver with Compassionate Connections Home Care, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, compassionate care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes. If you have experience with Hoyer lifts and a passion for making a difference in the lives of others, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
• Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Preparing meals for client
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as ambulating, transferring, and feeding
• Safely transfer clients using Hoyer lifts, and assist with mobility and balance exercises as needed
• Monitor and report changes in client condition to nurse supervisors
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of client care and services provided
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and their families
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements:
• Experience with Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices is required
• Must be able to lift, transfer, and reposition clients safely and with minimal risk of injury
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or specialized training in health care or a related field is preferred
Work Schedule:
• Part-time schedule available; flexible hours to accommodate client needs
