Job description
Join us as a Customer Project Manager where you'll lead customer projects from concept to completion.
You'll manage teams, budgets, and timelines while ensuring quality delivery and building lasting customer relationships across diverse technology environments. What will you do? * Partners with Field Sales or higher level project management roles to review and validate the project's purchase order and bill of material, including both technical and commercial elements, becomes lead contact for customer for balance of project order. * Validates a project schedule and communicates with the customer to ensure expectations are being met.
Direct engagement with the internal manufacturing facilities and third party vendors. * Monitor the execution of the customer's project order, verifying execution of the project through kick-off meetings, communication to all parties and exchange of technical requirements and project plan information. * Monitor the performance of the customer's project through its lifecycle.
Key activities include task completion verification, project team monitoring, schedule reporting and issue resolution. * Lead the closeout of the customer's project to include financial reconciliation, verification of job site equipment arrival, installation, start-up, and training support completion through review of internal system information, contact with the customer, and coordination with support services such as field services, after-shipment support, and training functions. * Compares/differentiates/propose alternate products with additional customer value.
• Solves problems with customer interaction that results in positive feedback and improved relationship. * Utilizes a base knowledge of Schneider Electric products and their use and demonstrates an understanding of the fundamental knowledge, processes and terminology needed for effective project management. What are the key skills we are looking for? * Prioritization - intermediate level; balancing competing demands across multiple projects and stakeholders * Analytical thinking - developing level; assessing project data to inform decisions and identify improvement areas * Communication - developing level; keeping teams and customers aligned throughout the project lifecycle * Customer orientation - developing level; ensuring project delivery meets customer expectations and builds trust * Decision making - developing level; making timely calls on methods, tactics, and processes under general guidance * Digital literacy - developing level; leveraging tools and platforms to track progress and report outcomes * Project management - developing level; coordinating schedules, resources, and deliverables across project phases * Operational efficiency - developing level; streamlining execution to reduce costs while maintaining quality What qualifications will make you successful? * Engineering degree in ME/EE/IE, or equivalent experience.
Industry experience a plus. CAPM certification a plus. * Must be able to work 3 days in the office * Proven track record in managing technical projects, particularly in equipment and engineering environments * Strong technical knowledge with expertise in project planning, organization, and resource control * Demonstrated ability to create detailed project documentation and risk management strategies * Excellence in stakeholder management and cross-functional team coordination * Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to quality standards * Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, ongoing basis.

based position, the expected pay range is USD 86,400 - USD 129,600 per year.
This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives.
The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States.
Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level.
