Construction/Carpenter

Pay: $22/hr to $23/hr

Location: Intel

This role primarily involves labor work including cleaning, demolition, flagging, and spotting. Responsibilities include organizing materials and basic site cleanup, assisting with wall penetration, and building sub-layers of cleanrooms such as floors, walls, and ceilings in varying outdoor conditions. The position requires lifting up to 50 pounds and strict adherence to safety rules. Additional tasks may include basic construction such as building structures, installing racks and tools, and working with hand and power tools. Candidates must be comfortable wearing a bunny suit and working in a buddy system.

Responsibilities:

• Perform labor work including cleaning and demolition.
• Organize and dispose of materials for site cleanup.
• Assist with wall penetration and building of cleanroom sub-layers.
• Follow safety rules and guidelines.
• Engage in basic construction tasks such as building structures and installing racks.
• Utilize hand and power tools effectively.
• Wear protective gear as required.
• Collaborate within a buddy system for tasks.

Essential Skills:

• Experience with construction, production, and hand tools.
• Proficient in installation and assembly tasks.
• Ability to perform general labor and use power tools.
• Comfortable with lifting heavy equipment and materials.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• OSHA 10 training is advantageous.
• Experience with rigging or forklift operation is helpful.
• Comfortable with basic construction duties.
• Mandatory tools include claw hammer, vise grips, wrench set, screwdrivers, side cutters, tape measure, and more.

Work Environment:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chandler, AZ.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
