Security Officer - Bike Patrol - Unarmed Post

As a Security Officer - Bike Patrol - Unarmed Post in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment in a bustling government location in downtown Denver. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout designated areas, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to those you encounter. This role is ideal for individuals who are comfortable riding a bike as part of their patrol duties and enjoy being active throughout their shift. Mon 03 : 00 PM - 01 : 00 AM

Sun 03 : 00 PM - 01 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter inappropriate activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance needs while on patrol.
  • Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal management and local authorities as needed to address incidents or concerns.
  • Assist in controlling access to the location, verifying credentials as required by site-specific guidelines.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, patrols, and observations during each shift.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned area to help to deter unwanted behavior and promote a welcoming environment.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to ride a bike.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
