Security Officer Unarmed Bike Patrol

As a Security Officer Unarmed Bike Patrol in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a government-focused location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will interact with the public, offer exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly to support a welcoming environment. This role may involve patrolling on foot or by bike, allowing you to engage directly with the community. Pay Rate : $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Fri 03 : 00 PM - 01 : 00 AM Sat 03 : 00 PM - 01 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Work collaboratively with local authorities and site management as needed to address incidents and / or emergencies.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and / or unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
  • Assist visitors and employees by providing information and directions within the location as needed.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to ride a bike as part of job duties.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
