Job Title: X-Ray Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: X-Ray Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Must have a valid state license prior to start date Certifications: BLS, ARRT required Must-Have: - Previous charge experience is not applicable - Charting system experience is preferred - Ability to handle a daily caseload of 30-75 patients Description: We are seeking a qualified X-Ray Technologist. The position involves working in an outpatient center that includes walk-in patients. Fluoroscopy procedures, including modified barium swallows and urodynamics, are part of the responsibilities. Technologists will utilize specialized equipment such as Konica U-arm, Phillips, EOS, OEC, Dornier, and Zheim. Healthcare team members should be prepared to float as needed. Candidates must follow infection prevention protocols and utilize isolation precautions when necessary. Flexibility is essential, as the candidate must work two out of three major holidays. Effective communication and teamwork skills are crucial in this role. Technologists will be expected to manage a diverse patient population, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, and pediatrics. A variety of procedures will be performed, including abdomen decubitus, cervical spine, lumbar spine, and trauma cases. We prioritize high standards of patient care and safety in all procedures performed.
