Position
Rockefeller Asset Management, a division of Rockefeller Capital Management, serves institutions, financial professionals, and other institutionally-minded investors through equity, fixed income, and alternative solutions that seek outperformance driven by a disciplined investment process. As of June 30, 2023, Rockefeller Asset Management has approximately $12 billion in assets under management.
As Principal on the Growth Equity Investing team, the candidate will play a pivotal role in identifying, conducting due diligence, and executing investment opportunities. The individual will collaborate closely with Rockefeller Asset Management leaders, the Chief Investment Officer, and the entire investment team. Responsibilities
• Lead aspects of sourcing, due diligence, and execution of growth equity investment opportunities within technology and consumer sectors.
• Demonstrate proficiency in modeling and structuring complex investment deals.
• Assist with portfolio company monitoring, including the strategic, operational, and financial performance.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive successful investment outcomes while adhering to firm's culture.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant private equity experience within technology or consumer sectors.
• Track record analyzing and closing investment transactions with deal sizes exceeding $50 million.
• Strong financial acumen and analytical skills with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for effective collaboration. with internal teams, external stakeholders, and industry counterparts.
Compensation Range
The anticipated base salary range for this role is $175,000 - $225,000. Base salary for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. In addition, this role may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
