Job Overview

Komatsu is embarking on an enterprise-wide initiative to transform our digital experience.

We are seeking a Product Manager - Adobe Marketing Technology (Notification Manager) with hands-on experience in Adobe marketing technology and communication tools to join the Global Digital Office, supporting digital initiatives for all business segments (e.g. Construction; Mining; Montabert; Forestry; Forklift, etc.) across regions.

This position plays a key role in Komatsu's digital transformation (KX) strategy, strengthening our ability to create value together by delivering consistent, customer-centric communications at scale.

The Product Manager for the Adobe Marketing Technology stack will be responsible for defining, delivering, and optimizing Komatsu's enterprise notification management capabilities across the Adobe Experience Cloud. This role balances business enablement and technical execution to ensure Komatsu can communicate with customers, dealers, and employees in a relevant, timely, and compliant manner localized to regions and business entities.

Working in partnership with global and regional stakeholders, the Product Manager will serve as the strategic owner for how Komatsu orchestrates multi-channel notifications globally (email, SMS, push, in-app, and future communication-delivery channels).

Key Job Responsibilities

Business Enablement & Product Strategy

Define the global vision, roadmap, and governance framework for notification management in alignment with Komatsu's product transformation strategy for communications across channels.

Partner with regional marketing, sales, and product support teams to ensure communications drive measurable customer and dealer value.

Establish governance for prioritization, frequency thresholds, and consent management while ensuring compliance with global privacy regulations for website-local specific and commerce / application experiences tied to data privacy (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

Act as the primary liaison between global product strategy and regional execution, ensuring solutions address both enterprise and local needs.

Track and report on KPIs adoption, engagement, and business impact of notification programs, including net new rollouts, as well as legacy system transition of delivery and reporting method

Technical Execution & Delivery

Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle : requirements gathering, backlog prioritization, sprint planning, release management, and adoption.

Collaborate with ITC, development / engineering, and Adobe to ensure successful platform integration, scalability, and performance.

Oversee design and implementation of Adobe Experience Cloud solutions including Campaigns, Journey Optimizer, Target, CDP, CJA, AEP.

Ensure robust data flows, integrations, and API connectivity aligned with KX Notifications Architecture that support a seamless customer experience.

Drive continuous improvement by identifying new capabilities, growth opportunity identification, and optimizing notification effectiveness and optimization.

Qualifications / Requirements

Education

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Technology, Communications, Computer Science, or related field required.

Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.

Experience

5+ years in product management or marketing technology, with significant exposure to enterprise-scale notification systems.

Experience working with Adobe Experience Cloud (Campaign, Journey Optimizer, Target, Audience Manager).

Proven record of balancing business engagement with technical solution delivery.

Skills & Competencies

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.

Ability to translate business needs into clear technical requirements and vice versa.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to influence across functions and regions.

Understanding of global data privacy regulations and compliance considerations.

Demonstrated ability to lead people and teams in a global, matrixed environment.

Experience with Adobe Experience Platform marketing technology and communication-related products.

Experience with designing frameworks through delivery from the technology phase to production for communication delivery.

Pay and Benefits

At Komatsu, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays between $88,100 and $110,100. The actual offer will consider a wide range of factors, including experience and location.

Employees may be eligible for a bonus based on overall corporate and individual performance or at the discretion of Komatsu.
