As a Manager, Supply Chain Category Management, you're a key partner to engineering, projects, operations, finance, and legalworking together to keep critical supply categories like steel, valves, rotating equipment, E&I, coatings, and logistics on track. You stay ahead of market trends and adjust sourcing strategies to ensure continuity and cost-effectiveness. You lead RFx processes and negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, warranties, performance guarantees, and risk mitigation terms. You build should-cost and total-cost models to guide sourcing decisions and collaborate with legal to finalize master goods and service agreements. You manage supplier performance through scorecards and reviews, setting corrective actions and resolving delivery issues as they arise. You proactively identify risks, coordinate with project teams to secure alternates, and track savings and cash flow impact with finance. Along the way, you coach others on analytics and supplier communications while aligning future negotiations and critical deliveries. Responsibilities / Expectations :
- Optimizes total cost of ownership, mitigates risk, collaborates with internal partners and critical suppliers
- Leads supplier negotiations, optimizes inventory and handles spend to mitigate risk in operations and / or projects efficiently and competitively
- Ensures supply chain policies are developed, implemented and carried out
- Responsible for the company's procurement, inventory, transportation and logistics programs
- Demonstrates a focus on continuous improvement to simplify processes, increase efficiencies and enhance business continuity plans
- Ensures all goods / services procured meet quality and safety requirements as set forth by the organization
- Coordinates workforce planning and career development for direct employees
- Lead all aspects of effective communication with and support of operations, project execution, business development, and accounting
- Owns the strategic direction for key supply categories, ensuring alignment with business priorities and long-term project requirements
- Applies analytical frameworks to define category segmentation and build sourcing plans that support both capital projects and operational continuity
- Drives competitive sourcing processes and supplier selection for critical, high-impact categories, ensuring optimal value and performance
- Maintains market intelligence to proactively adjust strategies in response to economic shifts, supply disruptions, and geopolitical developments

Education / Years of Experience :
Required : Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Construction, Accounting, Business, Engineering or Energy Management and a minimum of seven (7) years of progressive experience in related functionPreferred : Bachelor's degree and a minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience in related function; ISM CertificationOther Requirements :
