:Sentara is a career destination for professional nursing. The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive, patient-centered care in a dynamic healthcare setting. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, delivering treatments, and supporting patients and families with education and compassionate service. The RN collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to monitor patient progress, make clinical adjustments, and advocate for the best patient outcomes, ensuring safety and adherence to evidence-based practices.
Department Overview:
4 West is a 24-bed inpatient nursing unit, providing quality care to adult medical/surgical telemetry patients who are acutely ill or injured. 4 West specializes in post-operative surgical patient care. Education:
ADN required, BSN or higher preferred.
Certification:
Virginia or compact multistate RN (Registered Nurse) license in good standing
BLS within 90 days of hire.
Experience:
