MAKING AN IMPACT Lifeguard / Swim Instructor Saving and changing lives, every single day. Working for Goldfish Swim School will allow you to provide children and families with necessary life skills to combat the ever growing drowning statistics.

Whether you are in the pool leading instruction for our swimmers or warmly greeting our members in our tropical lobby as a front desk representative, you are making an impact.

Role : Lifeguard Summary : Under general supervision, ensures the safety of patrons of Goldfish Swim School - New Rochelle,(Whager Two LLC) by preventing and responding to emergencies. Primary Responsibilities :

• Maintains constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure safety of guests in the event of an accident or emergency
• Communicates the rules of the facility to patrons fairly and consistently
• Provides emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.
• Ensures that medical services are contacted by most appropriate means when necessary to respond to an emergency.
• Advance through cross-training in multiple roles and substitutes when necessary
• Assists with cleaning / maintenance as necessary during the shift
• Provide a Golden Experience to our students, families, and team members.

Job Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to work with children
• Lifeguard Certification
• Prior related leadership and teaching experience is preferred (supervisory roles)
• Must pass background examinations prior to training

Goldfish Swim School - New Rochelle (Whager TWO LLC) is a learn-to-swim facility for kids ages 4 months to 12 years. Our proven confidence building curriculum promotes a love of swimming and teaches children to be safer in and around the water.
