Responsibilities

THIS IS A NIGHT-SHIFT POSITION (4pm - 2am)

This non-exempt position performs maintenance on quarry plants.

Welding, repair and fabrication on rock crushing equipment associated with a quarry operation..

• Performing other related duties as assigned or requested

PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

Frequently requires the ability to sit, talk and hear. Frequently requires the ability to stand, walk, use hands / fingers, reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel or crouch. Frequently requires the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Requires following specific types of vision : close, distance, peripheral, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT :

Work environment - field settings. Conditions may include all or some of the following : moderate noise level to high noise levels, exposure to mechanical parts, high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions and vibration, wet and / or humid (non-weather) conditions, high / precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic / caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, risk of electrical shock, work with explosives and vibration.
