Job Summary :
The MRI Technician will operate MRI equipment to create diagnostic images. This role involves working night shifts and requires familiarity with various imaging techniques and patient populations, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The technician must be prepared to work during catastrophic events and may be reassigned to different units as needed.
Location : Wilmington, North Carolina, United States
Responsibilities :
- Perform MRI scans of the abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, and musculoskeletal system.
- Utilize diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, MIP, MRP, peripheral magnetic resonance, spin echo images, surface coils, T1 and T2, and CINE techniques.
- Image post-processing.
- Work as part of a Storm Team and / or Hurricane Team, reporting to work during catastrophic events, mass casualties, or disasters.
- Consolidate to the Centralized Office mid-contract and be preassigned to units as needed.
- Perform data entry into electronic medical database systems and document patient care.
Required Skills & Certifications :
Minimum 2 years of experience as an MRI Technician.BLS certification.ARRT certification.Experience with abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, musculoskeletal, diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, MIP, MRP, peripheral magnetic resonance, spin echo images, surface coils, T1 and T2, and CINE.Preferred Skills & Certifications :
Experience with chest imaging.Experience with image post-processing.Familiarity with neonates, infants, and pediatric patient groups.Special Considerations :
No RTO allowed after booking and cannot be worked out onsite.Call-offs or additional RTO may result in cancellation and DNR.Must be prepared to work during catastrophic events, mass casualties, or disasters.Scheduling :
4x10s night shifts, Tuesday-Friday, 2030-0700.Scheduling is per unit needs.
