Join a dynamic team responsible for managing and preparing vehicles for auction at a leading auto auction facility. As a Yard Worker, you will play an essential role in the check-in process of vehicles, ensuring they are clean, documented, and ready for auction.

Responsibilities

• Clean vehicles upon arrival by vacuuming, removing trash, and bagging personal belongings separately.
• Wrap any broken glass in plastic wrapping to ensure safety.
• Use a handheld device to record vehicle information such as color, make, model, VIN number, and visible damage.
• Assess and determine the quality of the vehicles.
• Take and upload pictures of the vehicles using the handheld device.
• Move vehicles to the holding lot once they are checked in and cleaned.

Work Environment

This position is entirely outdoors, amidst a large yard filled with vehicles. Candidates must be comfortable working in all weather conditions and willing to frequently enter and exit vehicles to perform their duties. A small office is available onsite for handling paperwork, but the primary tasks will be conducted outside.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bessemer, Alabama.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00 / hr.
