Join our team as an Inventory Specialist Supervisor, overseeing pharmacy inventory operations to ensure accurate stock levels, efficient workflow, and strong team performance. This role leads inventory staff, manages ordering and product availability, and ensures compliance with all regulatory and company standards. The Inventory Specialist Supervisor plays a key role in maintaining product integrity, supporting operational needs, and optimizing inventory processes across the pharmacy.
Location : Our Closed-Door Pharmacy in Plymouth, MI
Salary : Starting at $57,000 per year (Salary based on experience)
Schedule : Monday – Friday, 10 : 00AM – 6 : 30PM
Reports To : Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities :
Lead and support the inventory team, including scheduling, training, coaching, and maintaining accurate attendance and performance records.Oversee daily workflow, shift assignments, and cross-department communication to ensure efficient operations and timely completion of tasks.Manage pharmacy inventory levels, including medications and supplies, by setting par levels, coordinating ordering, and resolving backorder or sourcing issues.Ensure accurate receipt, stocking, and ongoing review of inventory, including removal of outdated items and maintenance of active product files.Conduct and supervise periodic physical inventories, audits, and product conversions such as NDC flips and brand-to-generic transitions.Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, including CMS, Boards of Pharmacy, DEA, OSHA, HIPAA, and internal corporate policies.Oversee inventory recall and pedigree processes, ensuring proper segregation, documentation, and final product disposition.Collaborate with pharmacists, technicians, and cross-functional teams to improve workflow and support onboarding of new facilities.Demonstrate strong customer service when interacting with internal teams, vendors, and external partners to resolve inventory-related issues.Maintain a clean, organized workspace, participate in special projects, and contribute to a positive and productive team environment.Skills + Abilities :
