Our Business Area Roof is the global market leader for sunroofs, panoramic roofs, and convertible roofs, offering roof solutions with true added value. As roof specialists, we also provide customized and innovative solutions that meet the highest quality standards for electric mobility, the future of autonomous driving, and the use of solar energy.
Exciting Tasks
- Supervise and coach quality engineers across all shifts and track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) including PPM, scrap, and audit scores.
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action efforts using 8D, 5-Why, and other structured problem-solving tools.
- Ensure effective implementation of Core Quality Tools : APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC.
- Interface directly with customers on quality concerns, audits, and issue resolution.
- Support supplier quality activities including incoming inspections and supplier development.
- Maintain quality documentation and support QMS system improvements (IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, etc.).
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement lean quality initiatives (Poka-Yoke, Layered Process Audits, Error-Proofing)
What You Bring To Us
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field; advanced certifications (e.g., CQE, CQA, IATF auditor) preferred.5+ years of experience in automotive quality and 2+ of leadership, with experience working with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.Deep knowledge of IATF 16949, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC and other relevant automotive quality standards, Advanced Excel; experience with Minitab, ERP / QMS systems (SAP, Plex, etc.).Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills; capable of influencing cross-functional teams and escalating quality issues effectively.Organized, detail-oriented, and driven by a proactive, continuous improvement mindset. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.What We Offer You
