Job Description & Requirements Specialty : MRI Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 11 / 17 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 10 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Position : MRI Technologist Location : Wilmington, North Carolina Start Date : November 17, 2025 Duration : 13 Weeks (Maximum) Schedule : Tuesday–Friday, 8 : 30 PM – 7 : 00 AM (4x10s, Nights) Overview : We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 13-week night shift assignment in Wilmington, NC. This role requires advanced imaging skills and a strong understanding of magnetic resonance protocols across a diverse patient population. First-time travelers will not be considered. Key Responsibilities : Perform MRI scans across a range of anatomical areas including abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, and musculoskeletal Utilize advanced imaging techniques such as diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, MIP, MRP, spin echo, surface coils, T1 / T2, and CINE Operate GE and Siemens MRI equipment Document procedures and communicate effectively using EPIC systems Work exclusively night shifts with no call, float, or weekend requirements Participate in hospital orientation and be available for all scheduled training sessions May be assigned to Storm or Hurricane Teams during emergency events Required Qualifications : Minimum of 2 years MRI experience ARRT(R) certification (active) BLS certification through the American Heart Association (active) Prior travel experience (first-time travelers not accepted) Familiarity with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations Preferred Qualifications : Experience with chest imaging and image post-processing Familiarity with neonates, infants, and pediatric patients Additional Details : Scrub color : Royal blue Scheduling : Per unit needs Orientation : Week one, 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM daily Locals accepted (rate adjustments may apply) RTO after booking is not permitted and cannot be negotiated onsite.
